A fetching lace rib, columns of beads, and a lively cable bring to mind the gentle motion of the cherry blossoms in the spring as they fall all too quickly from the cherry trees that line the streets of my neighborhood in Vancouver.
The beading technique is easy, just let pre-strung beads rest between stitches. Pattern is both written and charted, and is designed for 2 circular needles in the round.

Sock yarn, 370 yds. Sample socks used Nature’s Palette fingering weight (100% merino wool, 185 yds/50 g) - 2 skeins, Odd Duck #1
Fits women’s medium. Leg measures 7.5” from cuff to ankle.
34 stitches, 45 rows = 4 inches over stockinette stitch knit in the round, after blocking.
