Dragonfly Neckpiece and Bracelet...Dragonfly Drama.

A dazzling and unique neckpiece created in two pieces for a sculptural effect. Two different methods of using beads are used, one for the body, one for the wings and neck cord. The matching bracelet echoes the beading pattern found on the wings of the dragonfly.

Finished circumference of neckpiece: approximately 15.5”. Finished circumference of bracelet: approximately 6.25”.
One size fits most as I-cord strands are stretchy. However, if desired, the cord of the neckpiece may be easily lengthened by adding 2 beads for each additional .5” (1 bead for each side of cord). Likewise, the bracelet may be lengthened by adding 3 beads for each additional .5”.

Ravelry users:

Ending lines were omitted from early versions of the pattern. Under “Begin Bracelet Bead Pattern”, after the 4-row Bead Pattern, pattern should read:
Repeat these four rows 10 more times, then Rows 1 - 2 once.
Next row: K1, [k2tog] 3 times - 4 sts
Work 9 rows of I-cord on these 4 stitches.
Next row: Slip 2 knitwise, k2tog, pass 2 slipped sts individually over last st. Leaving a tail of at least 5”, cut yarn and pull through last loop to bind off.
Attach button or bead, and make button loop as for Neckpiece.
