Jack in the Pulpit Socks...

Texture, lace, and beads are more than the sum of their parts when merged together in this delightful sock. Jack- in-the-pulpits march up the center front, beads and all, and the undulating lacy ribs on either side step aside to let them pass. The beaded pattern starts right away at the tip of the round toe, and the fun continues from there. Heel is traditional gusset and heel flap construction with pattern on the heel flap. Socks are beaded using the crochet hook add-as-you-go method.

Pico Accuardi Dyeworks Acid and Weed sock (100% superwash wool, 380 yds/ 100 g) in Sprinkles colorway, 1 skein.

Fits women’s small (medium, large). Foot/leg circumference 7-1/2 (8-1/2, 9-1/2)”/19 (21.5, 24) cm. Leg measures 6-1/2” from ankle to top of cuff.

33 sts, 48 rows = 4 inches over stockinette stitch knit in the round.

Knitting needles: US 1 (2.25mm) or size to obtain gauge, set of 4 double pointed needles, 2 circular needles, or 1 long circular needle
Beads: approximately 50 brass lined crystal iris ab size 6/0 seed beads
