Rolling Thunder Gauntlets...Beaded Gauntlets!
This latest variation on my favorite cuff is minus the gloves and the socks.. just as it is in its marvelous beaded glory!
The gauntlet starts with a knitted-in hem, continues with a texture pattern up the arm and graduates to a slim, fitted wrist.
Bead requirements: 280 size 6 or 8 seed beads for the pair. I used size 8 delica beads for the sample.

Rolling Thunder Gauntlets
Fingering to sport weight yarn, 300 yards. For the sample, I used A Verb for Keeping Warm’s Metamorphosis, 1 skein.
Sized for women’s medium arm. Gauntlet measures approx. 6” long from hem edge to wrist.
32 stitches, 50 rows = 4 inches over stockinette stitch in the round
- US 1.5 (2.5 mm) circular needles – 2, or double pointed needles - set (or size to achieve correct gauge)
- Stitch marker
- Seed beads, size 8/0 – 280
- Dental floss threader or big eye beading needle
