Toe up socks are more fun! This pattern offers you a template for toe up socks with traditional heel flap and gusset construction in seven sizes with many options, for fingering and sport weight yarn.

Fingering weight (sport weight) sock yarn, approximately 400 yds.
Fiddlehead socks pictured above used Curious Creek Fibers Wasonga (100% superwash merino wool 2-ply, 493 yds/
100 g) - 1 skein in Good Witch.
Sized for 6.5 (7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5)” foot circumference if using fingering weight yarn, or 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5)” foot circumference if using sport weight yarn.
32 (28) sts = 4 inches over stockinette stitch knit in the round.
Needles
US 1/2.25 mm needles (US 2/2.75 mm) - set of double pointed needles or 2 circular needles at least 24” in length, or 1 long circular.
